The new Standard Methodology for calculating housing requirement

The Government is proposing a new method for calculating local housing requirement.

We look at how this approach will affect Leicestershire. We’re concerned that the Government’s proposal is politically motivated rather than evidence-based and that it will lead to unaffordable and car-dependent housing built in the countryside.
